Intumescent fire door seals are an essential component in maintaining the integrity and performance of fire doors. They are designed to expand when exposed to heat, minimising the passage of fire and smoke.

• Suitable for gaps of 2-4mm
• RAPID EXPANSION: When exposed to extreme heat the intumescent has a rapid high-pressure expansion to prevent any fire from spreading
• SMOKE SCREEN: Finished with a brush pile smoke screen to prevent smoke passing through the door frame gap
• FIRE RATING: This intumescent strip has been approved for both 30 and 60 minute fire doors
• FD60: Fit 2 15mm strips. In the case of using 2 intumescent seals (Typically for an FD60 assembly) please space the seals so that one of the seals is not completely interrupted by hinges or locks/latches.
• SELF ADHESIVE: Conveniently made with a self-adhesive backing for ease of application
