How Does This Emergency Door Lock Operate?
- The latch is withdrawn via a lever handle from either side of the door (handles sold separately).
- The deadbolt is locked and unlocked via a Euro profile cylinder (cylinder sold separately). One single turn of the key or thumb-turn on the Euro cylinder will completely throw the 20mm deadbolt.
- In the event of an emergency when the door is locked (when the deadbolt has been thrown), the internal lever handle, when operated, will withdraw the latch and deadbolt simultaneously, allowing the door to be opened in one single operation.
- Suitable for fire doors, timber FD30, FD60, FD120, steel FD 240
- CE, UKCA marked and certified to BS EN 179:2008, BS EN 12209:2003 standards Grade 3. Certifire approved.
- Latch can be reversed on site without taking the lock case apart
- Includes split spindle, adjustable anti-rattle strike plate and dust box.
- Bolt-through the facility for bolt-together fixing of lever handles and accessories at 38mm centres.
- 60mm Backset, 165x90mm case, radius forend
- 10-year mechanical guarantee as standard
