The Story
This electromagnetic closer is suitable for care homes, hospitals, and anywhere that a low opening force is needed to open a door or hold open doors for access, while ensuring they shut in the event of a fire alarm activation when linked.
In swing-free mode this will enable the door to be easily opened with no resistance, ideal for locations needing to take the Equality Act into consideration.
CE Marked and Certifire approved, our E-mag door closer conforms to British Standard EN 1155 with size 4 power.
With a 24DC operating voltage, when power is cut by the fire alarm system or an outage, the door will then close itself.
Suitable for interior push and pull doors up to 1100mm and 80kg, the medium closer will hold open doors at all angles between 65° and 180°.
Supplied with universal fittings, it includes an adapter which allows easy conversion from hold open to swing-free mode.
