Our tradefit Grade 4 fire door kits are designed, tested and certified for fire doors in environments classified as Severe Duty. They are ideal for high-traffic areas such as buildings with over 40 occupants typically used by the public and subject to frequent abusive or violent door use.

These kits feature a cam action fire door closer that reduces the force to open the door, easing operation and minimising wear on handles and locks. The slide arms are non-projecting, reducing the risk of damage or misuse, they aesthetically pleasing, and importantly prevent users from hanging objects, ensuring the door remains functional. Concealed bearing fire door hinges feature built-in lubrication that automatically lubricates the hinge with each door movement, ensuring extended longevity and minimal maintenance. Locks, hinges, and handles are tested to "Severe Duty" CE and UKCA standards, enduring 500,000 cycle testing.

This kit, backed by a 25-year mechanical guarantee, ensures you have fitted properly tested and accredited ironmongery for the most demanding of environments.

The Emergency Escape Door HMO Lock Kit

• For use on doors that need to be locked for security but will allow escape via one single lever operation from inside.
• Key to lock from outside, Thumb turn to lock inside, one turn lever escape from inside. When unlocked the handles will operate freely from both sides of the door.
• When the inside lever handle is operated, both the latch and deadbolt are withdrawn simultaneously, allowing a locked door to opened from the inside just by operating the internal door handle. Must be used in conjunction with the supplied door handles or this lock will not comply with the British / European standard.
• This kit should be fitted by a competent professional tradesman.
